Information we collect

• Account details - your name, date of birth, and the phone number or email you sign in with.
• Verification codes - one-time codes sent over SMS or email to confirm it's you. We store these hashed, never in plain text.
• Operational data - collection-centre activity you record in the app, such as weighments and payouts.
• Device & location - a device identifier, app version, and (with your permission) your location, used to tag where collections happen and to send notifications.

How we use it

To run your account, verify sign-ins, record and verify collection data, send you relevant notifications, keep the service secure, and improve how Senti Eco works. We do not sell your personal data.

Children

Senti Eco is intended for users aged 15 and above - it is not for children. In line with Tanzania's Law of the Child Act (Cap. 13), under which apprenticeship is permitted from age 15, we do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 15, and registration requires a date of birth confirming this. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 15, we will remove it.

Permissions

Notifications and location are optional and only requested with your consent. You can change these anytime in your device settings; the core app keeps working without them.

Data sharing & retention

We share data only with service providers that help us operate (for example, SMS and push-notification delivery), and where required by law. We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You can delete your account from within the app (Profile > Delete account); it is scheduled for deletion and permanently removed after a 30-day grace period, during which you can sign back in to cancel. You can also request deletion by emailing info@trixa.net.
